Hannah and Kris are one of the most precious couples I have ever met. I first had the opportunity to photograph them at their Engagement Session last Fall. I immediately noticed just how genuine and purely sweet their love was for one another. I have been looking forward to their Wedding since then, and on March 22nd, Hannah & Kris became husband and wife!

When Mica and I arrived to the Huffman home, Hannah was being laced up in her dress and preparing for her first look with Kris.

There was a 70% chance of rain on this day. It was important to Hannah & Kris to have their first look take place in the row of pines in front of their home. It seemed like all week we watched the weather and prayed for sunshine. Not only was there sunshine when the time arrived for Hannah and Kris to see each other for the first time, but it was a gorgeous day!

Precious right? In preparation for this blog I wanted to share a little of their story. I asked Hannah to explain how she and Kris first met. I think she tells it best in her own words.

"Kris and I met working together at taco villa. In the beginning Kris had a girlfriend and I had a boyfriend. He told his best friend he had a crush on me, and it just so happens his best friend is married to my best friend. (: So then began the hook up! It didn't take long for me to fall in love with Kris. I knew he was the one for me on the very first date! He obviously felt the same way, because within just a short 8 months he asked me to marry him. Now, the day he asked me was on a Sunday afternoon just after church. As soon as we got back to my house Kris asked if I wanted to take a picture with him. Kris absolutely despises taking pictures, so I was a little suspicious. My mom (clueless) starts taking pictures of us. After the third picture he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. (: pictures are a great way to propose because now we get to relive that memory through pictures. The love we have for one another is infinite. Marrying Kris is the easiest decision I have ever made."

Hannah's Dad preformed their ceremony and it was very touching. Before the ceremony began he came to the back to say a prayer with her and her family and bridesmaids. As you can see, it was very emotional as well!

Kris and Hannah-- Thank you so much for allowing me to document your Big Day! It was perfect, and I am honored to have been a part of it. I wish you the best in your future to come!
